NACLAA Program Structure

NACLAA courses are delivered online beginning in September, January and April. NACLAA is comprised of two levels of achievement. Level I is awarded upon the completion of eight courses. Students must complete five compulsory courses and three elective courses to receive NACLAA Level I and must complete Level I before they register for any Level II courses. In order to receive NACLAA Level II, an additional four courses must be completed.

* All graduates of Level II must take Public Administration Professionalism. If you were admitted to the NACLAA program before September 2009, you may have taken at least one of the required Level II courses as an elective in their NACLAA Level I program or they will have completed an equivalent course as part of their studies within another local government program. These students will be required to choose another course as an elective.
