Courses
Dalhousie University's Non-Profit Sector Leadership Program offers a number of professional development opportunities designed to support organizational and community leadership. These will be of particular interest to executive directors and others currently working in the voluntary sector.
Professional Development Courses
We currently offer five courses which typically involve a blended approach to learning (classroom and online study). They each deal with a subject area in significant depth, challenge and complexity and provide an opportunity for participants to engage in real organizational interventions and problem solving and receive instructor and peer feedback. The courses are:
These courses are generally offered in Halifax but can be provided in other centres if presented in partnership with local organizations and associations.
Registration and Fees
Participants enrol in individual courses. Those taking a course in the program for the first time must apply to the Program Director for admission by submitting a brief resume of work experience and education along with a course registration form.
