Continuing education is a vital part of the full academic program at Dalhousie, encompassing everything from advanced programs for physicians to excellent courses introducing new learners to important skills. The Continuing Technical Education department has a long tradition of offering high quality courses and programs in support of professionals in architecture, engineering and computer science across Canada and abroad. For over 20 years, CTE has responded imaginatively to the educational needs of technical and managerial professionals, providing a unique learning environment that brings together theory and practice in an innovative and effective manner. Frequently these courses are offered in partnership with government and industry agencies, as well as other universities and private learning providers. Our goal is to ensue that CTE's clients receive the very best possible courses in a setting and locale that serves their needs. Dalhousie CTE is able to draw upon the wide range of disciplines available at the University to ensure relevance and high professional standards.
