Test begins: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm - testing of reading, writing, listening skills and speaking.
Please note: test begins promptly at 12:00 pm. If you arrive after 12:00 you will not be admitted into the testing lab.
This test is internet based and will test the student's ability in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students may bring paper and pen for note taking.

The ESL Placement Test is only accepted by Dalhousie University. It is delivered for the purpose of assessing a student for entrance into an ESL program or for entrance into a Dalhousie undergraduate or graduate program.
Test results are usually available 48 hours after taking the test.
